Welfare

The club and training sessions are equally for every member to enjoy and for that to be achieved we all have a responsibility to treat each other with dignity and respect.  If at any point you feel uncomfortable with something at the club or that codes of conduct are not being properly upheld, please don’t hesitate to contact Jen the Welfare Officer and she will endeavour to get it resolved.

Sport and keeping fit have so many benefits but it should be fun and enjoyable.  There may be times when you feel something isn’t right for example:

  • Sharing or sending inappropriate or unkind messages.
  • Pressuring you to do something you don’t want to whether directly or online.
  • Damaging or stealing your belongings.
  • Hurting you either physically or emotionally.
  • Feeling bullied.

If you don’t feel comfortable talking to the club welfare officer, there are other avenues that junior members may wish to explore.
